1992 Fonseca, 1992

1992 Fonseca

Vintage Port (Offer includes a solid oak gift box with silk liner as illustrated)
Description: A magnificent port scoring 97 Parker Points.

Reviews "Fonseca has scored in both the 1991 and 1992 vintages. The 1992 is a majestic young port that should ultimately rival, perhaps even surpass this house's most recent great efforts (1985, 1977, 1970, 1963). This colossal vintage port reveals a nearly opaque black/purple color, and an explosive nose of jammy black fruits, licorice, chocolate, and spices. Extremely full-bodied and unctuously-textured, this multi-layered, enormously-endowed port reveals a finish that lasts for over a minute. It is a magnificent port that will age well for 30-40 years.

1992 Port Duo

2x75cl of Quinta Do Vesuvio Vintage Port 1992 (both bottles come in a double dark mocha gift box with silk liner as illustrated)
Description: *** 90 Points (outstanding) Robert Parker***

Reviews:

A supple, charming, dark ruby/purple-colored wine, Quinta do Vesuvio's 1992 Vintage Port offers excellent concentration, a velvety texture, not much weight or tannin, a precocious, penetrating fragrance, sweet fruit, medium to full body, and a gentle finish. It will drink well young and last for 20 years." Robert PArker, Wine Advocate

This 1992 Quinta do Vesuvio has a clear medium dark red colour. The fruit is there with ripe banana, mocha, raisins and chocolate dominating the nose. It is sweet on the palate, with high enough acidity to keep it fresh and vibrant.

Churchill's Port, 1992

Churchill's Port, 1992

Quinta do Agua Alta Vintage Port
Description: Despite its thoroughly traditional-sounding name Churchill is the newest of the British-owned Port companies, founded in 1981 by J. Graham. Quinta Agua Alta is named after the spring at the top of the vineyard and it produces wonderfully pure and fresh water that bubbles up through the granite rock below the thin top soil. Olives and figs grow in abundance around the vineyard which produces a quite stunninly powerful port. Deep purple in colour with a mass of soft and concentrated fruit. There's plenty of tannin to give structure and a pleasing earthiness on the finish. This is the perfect way to round off a good dinner.

Quinta de la Rosa, 1992

Vintage Port - Magnums
Description: 93 pts Robert Parker

"The powerhouse 1992 Vintage Port exhibits a huge, highly extracted, chocolate and black-raspberry-scented nose, full body, unctuously-textured flavors, moderate tannin, and a chewy, long finish. It requires 7-8 years of cellaring as it is revealing more structure than other 1992s. It should keep for 25-30 years." Robert Parker Wine Advocate.

Calem Port, 1992

Quinta da Foz Vintage Port

Nose is still very young and fruity with lots of jammy conserves, liqourice, mocha and chocolate.

Taylor's Port, 1992

Taylor's Port, 1992

Vintage Port (Magnum)
Description: This is a rare magnum (1.5L) format. The bottles are in excellent condition

*** 100 Points - Robert Parker ***

Reviews:
"Taylor's 1992 Vintage Port is unquestionably the greatest young port I have ever tasted. It represents the essence of what vintage port can achieve. The color is an opaque black/purple, and the nose offers up fabulously intense aromas of minerals, cassis, blackberries, licorice, and spices, as well as extraordinary purity and penetration. Yet this is still an unformed and infantile wine. If Chateau Latour made a late-harvest Cabernet Sauvignon, I suspect it might smell like this.
