This incredibly rare 1943 vintage port is a star bright copper bronze colour with a bouquet of seared almonds, coconut and toffee. It is a sweet full bodied port with silky tannins and a very long finish.
This port company was founded by Roger Hooper. It was purchased by Real Companhia Vehlas in the early 1950s where it was run as an independent producer until 1971. The label was used until 2003.
