Description and Reviews:
Tasting Notes A range of complex aromas including caramel, mandarin zest, raisins and a savoury rancio quality. The aromas follow through onto the palate. Smooth textured tangy palate, which is perfectly poised between a rich sweetness and refreshing acidity.

Serving Tips & Storage Verdelho is an ideal wine for those who do not favour dry wines, and is remarkably versatile as a wine in its ability to enhance the enjoyment of both sweet and savoury dishes. It can be served lightly chilled as an aperitif and as such accompanies savoury appetisers such as sesame and bread sticks but also richer cheeses exceptionally well, and the stronger and more smelly cheeses such as blue cheeses and Stilton, Camembert and ripe Brie. The wine is robust enough to accompany chutneys and other such sweet and sour preserves. Its medium sweet taste also pairs well with fresh fruit such as apples and grapes. The bottle can be stored upright away from sunlight.
