This 2007 Vintage Port can be enjoyed young for its powerful fruit, but it is also designed to age for decades. Over time, the wine will develop more complex tertiary flavors such as dried fruits, nuts, and more pronounced spice.

Tasting Notes
The 2007 Quinta Das Carvalhas is a very deep and black purple colour. A very concentrated and fruity aroma, with jammy, blackberries and plum notes. The great mouthfeel reveals all the complexity flavour of fruit, full-bodied and balanced wine with soft and velvety background and a long and lasting finish.

Reserve Ruby Port in Decanter

The Ruby Reserve of Quinta das Carvalhas is one of the beautiful ports produced in this emblematic Quinta. It is presented in a decanter that makes a wonderful lasting gift as the decanter can be re-used.

The “Reserva” means that the wine is made from premium grapes and has been aged for a longer period than regular Port wine giving it more mature and complex characteristics. It has a deep ruby colour with good structure, rich in aromas of very ripe red fruit, with vegetable notes, is characterized by its softly and harmony on the palate.
