Late Bottled Vintage Port, Douro
Includes Ramos Pinto Gift Box
***92 Points Decanter Awards***

The 2018 Ramos Pinto Late Bottled Vintage Port is unfiltered and comes from one single year and one single harvest. Whereas its richer cousin, the Vintage, is bottled in the second year, this wine is bottled in the fourth year. Smoother than the Vintage, more developed and easier to drink. It is a powerful, defiant, full-bodied and harmonious wine. It is a wine familiar with the flavours of chocolate and cheese. After the bottle is opened it remains at its best for a further 15 to 30 days, if properly stored. It is a wine that is not filtered and can therefore either be drunk immediately or be left forgotten in a cellar, developing further complexity.

Ramos Pinto, 2015

Vintage Port, Douro
Presented in Original Gift Box
***19/20 Points- Jancis Robinson.com***

The 2015 Vintage Port Wine from Ramos Pinto has been described as, "A wine with attractive aromas, fruit and rockrose, a good body with a long peppery finish. A Vintage which will age for many years." (Ana Rosas, Master Blender)

2015 was an excellent year in the Douro, with a very dry growing season and lower than average rainfall. A dry winter was followed by an atypically warm spring, allowing grapes to ripen fully in time for harvest in late August.

The Vintage is made from a blend of grapes from old vines grown in the Quinta de Ervamoira (Douro Superior) and Quinta do Bom Retiro (Cima Corgo).

Quinta da Ervamoira 10 Year old tawny Port
***90 Points- Wine Enthusiast***

Red Tawny, orange coloured with a touch of green.

Nose: Rounded, generous, with a light, balanced, vinous touch. Wood aromas: vanilla and old Port casks. It is of the fruity, tawny type.
Palate: Smooth and full bodied on the palate. From an initial unctuousness, there appears a fresh, soft fruit, finishing with a light, acidic, woody note.

After taste: The fresh fruit is still noticeable, entangled in the aging process in wood. Good structure and a perfect balance between fruit and alcohol.

Made with high quality wines from Quinta de Ervamoira by blending of wines from harvests from different years.

Ramos Pinto, 1945

Vintage Port

Reviews and tasting notes for the 1945 Ramos Pinto Vintage Port
"Reddish-brown in colour, mature in appearance; 50% opaque. Nice on the nose, fresh and with acidic rhubarb tones. Empty entry despite the texture, but some attractive burnt toffee and marmalade on the mid palate. A nice balancing acidity on the palate but this does burn slightly on the aftertaste. The finish is slightly burnt, but with very pleasant mature fruit; a touch short compared to the other ports shown alongside but a large volume and mouthfilling. 91/100." AHB The Port Forum
