This rare 2001 Port Wine has been stored in seasoned oak casks since the 2001 harvest until it was bottled this year. This is an outstanding example of an aged tawny from a single year.

Tasting Notes: The 2001 Port from Palmer has a light oak colour. Much elegance on the nose with orange peel, walnuts, figs and a touch of honey. On the palate, there is a lightness that is balanced by good acidity. This port wine delivers a beautiful flavour supported by a long, long finish. Outstanding.

STORAGE
The wine is ready to drink and does not require decanting. The bottle should be kept upright and protected from direct sunlight.
