Description and Reviews:
The Burmester 10 Year Old Tawny Port is an intense golden colour, with an amber rim. Complex on the nose, with prevailing aromas of dried fruit, almond and hazelnut combined with notes of honey and vanilla. A refined palate, with great smoothness, elegance and intensity. A round, full-bodied wine that develops into a rich and intensely fresh finish.

Fabulous dried fruit notes with amazing acidity and length. Gorgeous toffee apple and caramel notes. Hints of nutmeg and orange peel. Dried plums and squeezed dates. Sublime elegant and delicious.

Winemaking:
This port is made from old vines, being submitted to a careful ageing process in small oak casks. Over its 250-year history, Casa Burmester has perfected the classic process of blending wines and this is a magnificent example of its expertise.

Food Pairing:
It can be appreciated as an aperitif or on any other occasion. Ideal accompaniment to nuts, cheeses or deserts.
