Chateau Duhart Milon Rothschild, 2016

Pauillac 4th Growth Classification, Bordeaux
93 Points - Wine Advocate

Description and Reviews:
Duhart Milon 2016. The Rothschilds are making enormous investments in this estate. This Pauillac is produced by the team who make Lafite, and it has been on top form in recent vintages, receiving impressive scores from the critics. This is the smart buy from this producer as it is invariably half the price of Carruades Lafite but of higher quality.

Reviews:
The 2016 Duhart-Milon has an unusually opulent bouquet for a Pauillac, offering blackberry, raspberry coulis, sage and light cedar aromas. The medium-bodied palate offers fine tannins and well-judged acidity, though overall it comes across a little conservative and does not quite deliver the flair and finesse of the appellation’s top crus. Tasted blind at the Southwold tasting. 2022 - 2045
