The Cote De Duras is a wine making area just to the East of the much more famous Bordeaux region. The climate, common grape varieties and techniques of wine making are very similar to Bordeaux, often giving very similar wines but at better value, and this wine is no exception.
Expect aroma of candied fruit and honey. This is made in a dessert wine using the sweetest grapes from the crop that have been harvested at regular intervals.
