A gem that outshines the vintage, this is a dense and delicious port wine that shows some raisin and prune on the nose with wood hints and alcohol. On the palate, forest notes chime in with the forward fruits of cherries and black currants. There is a lot of structure to this wine, and there were even hints of bitter chocolate and leather in the finish.
