Description and Reviews:
Graham’s Vintage Port 1963

The 1963 vintage is widely regarded as one of the greatest Port vintages of the twentieth century, producing wines of extraordinary longevity, depth and balance. Graham’s 1963 stands today as a benchmark example of the vintage and of the house’s rich, powerful style.

In the glass, it shows a deep amber-brown core with olive and mahogany highlights, revealing its long bottle ageing. The nose is intensely complex, offering layers of dried fig, raisin, walnut, orange peel, polished wood, cocoa and subtle spice, intertwined with lifted notes of coffee, liquorice and antique furniture.

On the palate, the wine is remarkably smooth and seamless, with beautifully integrated sweetness and acidity. Flavours of toffee, treacle, dark chocolate, dates and roasted nuts unfold in graceful waves, supported by a fine backbone of freshness that carries through to a long, luxurious finish.

Graham’s 1963 Vintage Port is drinking superbly now and represents a rare opportunity to experience one of the most iconic Ports ever produced. A true collector’s wine, offering depth, elegance and unforgettable maturity.
