2024 Vintage Port – Kopke

A newly declared Vintage Port from one of the Douro’s most historic houses, the 2024 release forms part of a fully declared vintage, marking a significant year for the region and a return to a classic declaration style.

Tasting Note
Deep and intensely coloured, the nose shows vibrant blackcurrant, blackberry and plum, lifted by floral notes of violets and hints of dark chocolate and spice. The palate is powerful yet finely balanced, with concentrated dark fruit framed by firm, ripe tannins and fresh acidity. Layers of cassis, liquorice and subtle minerality build towards a long, structured finish, promising excellent development in bottle.

The 2024 vintage has been widely declared across the Douro, confirming it as a year of real significance. Conditions through the growing season delivered excellent fruit quality, with both ripeness and freshness retained.
