The Palmer 10 Year tawny is the premium Port blended by legendary wine-maker Alvaro Van Zeller from his best stocks of aged tawny blend to give an average age of 10 years.


Tasting Notes:The Palmer 10 Year tawny has a clear, medium tawny colour feathering to a pale orange rim. Dried orange peel, light brown sugar, maraschino cherry, and baking yeast aromas, anise, soft baking spice, and crushed earthy rock flavours. Medium body, bright acidity, and a softly sweet burnt sugar and cherry liquor finish with a hint of citrus and spice. Good long finish starting with a little heat before the flavours take over. Serving & Food Pairing:
Tawny Ports are ready-to drink and do not require decanting. Best enjoyed slightly chilled at 12-13ºC they will work wonders if pairing with treacle tart, crème brulee or nut based desserts, like hazelnut praline.
