Palmer Port, 2013

Colheita Port, Douro
75cl Bottle

Description and Reviews:
Exclusive to Vintage Wine & Port.

The 2013 Palmer colheita Port is a type of tawny port wine made from a single vintage and aged in wood for at least seven years before being bottled. The 2013 Colheita Port, therefore, would have been aged in casks many years before being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
The colour has a typically be a tawny hue, evolving over time from the original deep ruby red. You can expect a rich and complex flavour profile with notes of dried fruits, nuts, caramel, and spices due to the extended aging process in wood.

Serving Suggestions
Temperature: Best served slightly chilled, around 12-16°C (54-61°F).
Glassware: Use a port glass or a small wine glass to concentrate the aromas.
Food Pairing: Excellent with desserts like crème brûlée, pecan pie, or blue cheeses. Also delightful on its own as a digestif.

STORAGE
The wine is ready to drink and does not require decanting. The bottle should be kept upright and protected from direct sunlight. Once opened, it can be enjoyed over several weeks if kept in a cool, dark place.
