The 2014 Quevedo Vintage Port Wine is dominated by Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, with 8% each of Tinto Cão and Tinta Barroca. It comes in with 82 grams per litre of residual sugar, making it quite dry. This is a blend of Quintas, with 55% coming from Vale d'Agodinho (31-year-old vines) and the rest from Quinta da Trovisca, a much higher altitude (with 18-year-old vines). Inky black in look, this very dry, very austere port is tight and crisp, without a lot of concentration, but with superb structure. Very much on the lighter side, this is nicely crafted, but its structure is better than the fruit."
