This rare port from the classic 1970 vintage has rich tawny colour. On the nose the bouquet is of coffer and walnut. The palate brings out the coffee and a touch of chocolate. Delicious with and long and elegant finish.

Drink it alone for dessert. It is like a delicious piece of fruitcake. Medium red, with a roasted, chocolate, earthy nose, medium-bodied, with plenty of tannins and roasted, fruity flavours on the palate. Will improve. (1989)
