1953 Port Vintage Report
In the Douro, 1953 was not widely declared as a Vintage Port year, though some houses produced limited bottlings and there are examples of very good long-aged Colheitas. These can show delicacy, caramelised sweetness and nutty complexity when provenance is excellent.
