Quinta do Noval Nacional, 1982
Quinta do Noval Nacional

The nose is complex and inviting: dried fig and date, black cherry liqueur and plum compote, orange peel, cocoa, coffee bean and warm spice, with a subtle eucalyptus/menthol lift and polished old-oak tones.
Silky and harmonious on the palate. Sweet blackberry and kirsch fold into caramelised nut, dark chocolate and baking spice; the spirit is well knit, acidity fresh, and the tannins now velvety and resolved. …
