Description and Reviews:
Bottled by the Wine Society. Mature rose red colour, 30% opaque. Little showing on the nose, although there is some faint sweet fruit that is reminiscent of sweet raspberries dusted with icing sugar. The dusty icing sugar and some candy floss creates the initial impact on the palate. Air on the palate improves the flavours, allowing the fruit to grow well until this port delivers a satisfying mouthful of flavour on the late palate. There is a delicious medium-weight aftertaste and a finish that shows a burnt orange edge throughout the long length. Reviewed & Tasted in 2018 by Alex Bridgeman, The Port Forum.
