Vintage Wine and Port is honoured to be voted the 2022 IWC Fortified Retailer of the Year for the third consecutive time. However, we could not achieve this without our great customers so as a very special thank you to our subscribers we are offering 50 packs of fortified wines for just £99 plus postage.

There are only 50 packs available so we are limiting the offer to STRICTLY ONE PER CUSTOMER. Please do not call the office as, once they are gone, there are no more available. If your invoice is unpaid then the stock is reserved against your order. Any stock left in baskets will be returned to stock after 1hr. .

We wanted to include a range of styles including many of the smaller producers that we exclusively import. We blew the budget on the great selection of wines below.

2005 Burmester Vintage Port (75cl)
Exclusive to VWP who are the UK importers for Burmester.
The 2005 Burmester Vintage Port is beautifully ripe red and dark berry fruits and violets in the nose and the mouth. Pleasantly sweet and smooth. Good acidity and fine tannins at this early stage. Medium bodied and a lovely Port wine. Outstanding.

2011 Palmer Colheita Port (50cl)
A 50cl bottle of 2011 vintage Colheita Port Wine from Palmer Port. Again, this is exclusive to Vintage Wine & Port.
This rare Port Wine has been stored in seasoned oak casks since the 2011 harvest until it was bottled this year. This 2011 colheita is an outstanding example of an aged tawny.

Messias 10 Year Old White Port (50cl)
A fairly rare style of port, the 10 years old white is characterised by skin contact and oxidative maturation. It is golden in colour, with good acidity, concentration and wood from the long ageing all come together to give a Port that is dry while very rich, with just a hint of orange marmalade flavour.

It is made in the same way as aged tawnies, with slow aging in pipes in the Messias lodges. The white grapes undergo a long period of skin maceration and are foot trodden. Following the addition of grape brandy, the White Port spends a year in large oak vats, followed by ageing in traditional oak pipes for a period of between 7 and 15 years.

Blandys 10 Year old Verdelho Madeira <50cl)
***95 Points- Gold Medal- IWC 2022***
Walnuts and amaretti biscuits on the nose. Delicate dates with almonds and Amaretto cake flavours. Both crisp and fresh on the finish which leaves you wanting glass after glass.

Toro Albala Poley Fino del Lagar (Montila Morilles)
Straw-like yellow with golden and greenish reflections.
Aroma: Intense and piercing, almond, hazelnut and bread crumbs. Moreover, fresh vegetable, hay and olive notes. The smoked and toasted character from the American oak is noticed in addition to liquorice notes, which adds a natural, subtle alcohol and a distinctive touch.
Taste: Dry and mouth-filling entry, silky and pleasant texture. Persistent bitterness that eventually disappears to make room for an eternal salinity.
Ideal as appetizer or as accompaniment to oysters, hams and Iberian pork hams.

Quevedo 2016 Late Bottled Vintage Port
91 Points - Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Sourced from the winery's quintas at Vale d’Agodinho and Trovisca, this is dry, light and lifted. It's not the richest and deepest of the LBVs I've seen from this producer, but its focus and the length on the finish are superb. Very expressive as well, this shows brilliantly just now. It can also age and develop if you want to hold it.
